Senior IT Operations

About the Team

We are passionate about building software products that solve important customer pain points in the supply chain industry. We are currently a team of full stack engineers who are creating new technologies to identify and reduce supply chain errors.

This Senior IT Operations will be part of the Engineering org, reporting to the Director of Technology.

About the Role

The Senior IT Operations role will oversee key operational functions within the IT department, including vendor relationships, IT support, endpoint management, project management and compliance tasks.

This role also involves supporting cross-functional collaboration particularly with Security, Engineering and Finance, ensuring successful lifecycle management of employees, contractors and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

You will participate in all stages of the software engineering process from conception through release, including:

• Creation and upkeep of IT and provisioning automations. 
• Manage vendor lifecycle for 100+ apps, ensuring security and access policies are maintained. As well as working with Finance and app owners to oversee renewals, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Where you can't automate, facilitate regular check-ins with relevant teams (Finance, Security, HR etc..) to assist in cross-functional activities, like vendor/employee/contractor management.
• Maintain the IT roadmap, prioritize tasks, and document key meetings, vendor calls, and project updates.
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including hardware logistics and access provisioning.
• Maintain our Mac fleet. We're largely Mac based with a small Windows and iPad fleet, using MDMs to keep these devices supported and secure.
• Provide IT support, handling access requests and troubleshooting.
• Facilitate SOC2 audit preparation by collecting and managing IT control evidence, ensuring long-term compliance.
• Maintain IT documentation, including vendor guides, support materials, and process updates.
• Oversee contractor management, from onboarding to equipment setup, ensuring alignment with IT and security protocols.

About You

• Proven experience in IT operations, project management, and vendor management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiar with SOC2 compliance requirements or other IT security standards.
• Skilled in troubleshooting, providing employee support, and managing access requests.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with a keen eye for documentation.
• Experience with automating IT processes.
• Comfortable with managing both the strategic and hands-on aspects of IT operations.
